Itzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz Coffeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee Timeeeeeeeeeeee...!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

All of you know what this topic means,,, it's nothing great its the usual coffee break that everybody have during their work. what makes my coffee time different? Read on to find out....

I am working for a software firm in India and as you all know Coffee is the driving fuel to keep us up and awake and help us work late and hard in such organization. This is about the evening coffee time that I used to have with my buddies, currently both of my buddies are serving their tenure at the client location. Both of them are in different parts of the world, the first one is in Australia, the second one is in USA and I am in my own lovely country India.

Generally we all used to message each other in the internal messenger of to meet at the food court (FC). Among the three of us, Shamanth (Sham) was very serious at his work, Vinay(Pats) was a calm and very cool fellow we all called him lover boy because of his kewl and soft nature and lastly Me (Simha) who was all notorious, enthusiastic, hyperactive and foolish too...

The food court is pretty huge and lovely with a CCD(Cafe Coffee Day), Juice and Ice-Cream counter and a Bakery counter to one side and a food counter to the other. Generally each one of us used to take turns to sponser the other two every day.

During the Coffee break while sham and pats used to discuss on some issues about work, I used to scan the food court for some gorgeous females and I wished "That some day I also want to have coffee with a gorgeous female :)" you know guys are guys. Sham used to snap my day dream sessions and get me back to reality by saying that "I am there for you Simha" of course he is always there for me anytime. If pats uses to eye some girl then we would stop him doing so by telling him that we would inform his girlfriend.... :) and for sham we used to tell him "hey sham!! look at her, ain't she gorgeous" for which sham would happily say she won't even come near me ... hahaha. He was very pessimistic about girls but he is very talented too... he is a chupa rustam(Hidden Genius).. He has got the honour of a girl proposing him first among the three of us.. well I still have to open my account in that... Not only in india.. He even dated a girl in Australia... and also watched the Australian Open tennis match with FIVE gorgeous females around him.. That proves the little Geni...

The best part is that we used to have a lot of fun over coffee pulling each others legs, making each one bakara(victim of fun, person to be laughed at) sharing whatever one buys, eating in same plate, sharing the coffee and all the above looking at the gorgeous females who come with not so good looking guys.. to the FC.

Now

All the three of us are far away..... I still go to the FC but not with my buddies sham and pats. Sometime I get a sweet gorgeous girl to go with (My dream has become reality) and sometime I won't be able to go to the FC. Now, when I am with a girl its a different experience then the one I had, when I used to go to FC with Sham and Pats...

Now! when I am with a girl, the others will be looking at me, some of the people who know me for a long time give me different looks by thinking that I am going around with that girl :). But still its fun to study people and their ways of thinking. Even if I am with a gorgeous girl for coffee I still keep looking at other table for better ones.. which goes by the fact that a "Dogs tail is always curved"... hahaha

But still I feel that the Best moments during coffee was was with sham and pats... although I used to feel that I need to enjoy the coffee with a gorgeous female but the fun, the liveliness, the openess, the happiness I had with sham and pats are uncomparable with a gorgerous girl having coffee with me.....

what do you say buddies...???????

Database!!!!!!!!! Phew…

The first time I heard database was when I joined as a software engineer for an IT firm. Before that the term database to me was just a computer science graduate term. But now if I recall I think the term database is very old.

Our human mind is a huge and a self designing database. The real power of human brain is known only if you think and look back what your brain can do. The human database gets created during the early stages of human development. The data inside the database is already present before the child is out of the womb of its mother. If we question ourselves who inserted the first set of information to that database. I am sure many will not find a satisfactory answer. Do you think its God? Well am not sure of the answer I just keep wondering .

Now after getting to know that our human beings have a wonderful and a strong data base lets explore some of the features of this database.

The human database is called BRAIN and this is one of the fastest in the world. Every living being on planet earth has one such BRAIN and human beings have one of the advanced version of the BRAIN. The purpose of a database is to store information and our brain has no problem in storing any amount of information in itself. The brain has a lot of information in itself but most of those information are not used widely and hence they reside in the lease accessed region in the brain. Some information like which color dress you had worn on first Saturday of 2008 will be present in your brain but the access for such information may not be fruitful as its stored in the least accessible region of the brain.

Generally human beings design the database for a payroll system, reservation system, etc., by analyzing and capturing all the requirements that are needed in that system. We can call such approach as "know and do" approach that is know what you have to do before going to do it, but our Brain doesn’t work in such fashion it will take all the information that is passed to it, the brain doesn’t verify the information at the first place but it will take as it comes to it and this is very different compared to the databases created by human beings. The brain doesn’t need to know if it needs any table to be created to keep the data and if it needs to link to any of them all such things.

Another important feature of any database is data RETRIEVAL. Retrieval of data is the very important feature of a database and this is done using some languages for man made database like oracle, DB2, Teradata etc., but for retrieval of information from the brain also we have a language and each individual has his or her own language which will query the Brain and gets the required information. The way one person adds three numbers (100, 23, 50) may be different than the other person adds but the answer (173) would be same from all the individuals.

The last feature is maintenance. Maintenance is pretty simple for BRAIN as it has the power to self maintain itself, it can take care of all the extra overloads by itself and hence makes one of the efficient databases in the world. But for man made databases we have to work hard to maintain it. Generally a team of software professionals are hired for this purpose and these professionals will maintain the database.

Now that I got to know so much about the human database… I still wonder which all table I queried to get this data into this blog..

Keep querying…

World's Cheapest Car..

Today India's top auto manufacturer unveiled the cheapest car of the world "Tata Nano" for a price tag of 1,00,000 INR (2500$ USD). This event has made India and Indians proud, The most happy people are the Middle class families who were aspiring to own a first hand car for the first time in their lives.

All this started when the owner of TaTa said that he will give the people of india an one lakh car, The indians were happy when he announced that but also feared if it was possible because of inflation. The cost of the raw materials were increasing day by day and the people feared if such a car would come to life from drawing board to reality, but the frea was wrong today we see "Tata Nano" infront of our eyes.
This was a great challenge for the Research and develolpment team of TELCO and the deadline was very tight as it would increase the cost if slipped. The R&D team in TELCO worked all day and night and at last they successfully completed the project..

Today (10-Jan-2008) Ratan Tata himself drove the car and unveiled it to all the people of india as he had promised. He specially mentioned that " I had made a promise and I have fulfilled that promise". Thats how a man should be, hats off to this great gentlemen who has put India in one of the top most postions in the world in the field of automobiles.

The people of india were all happy and thrilled by the very look of the car. Every indian who dreams of buying a 2 wheeler can now opt for buying a brand new car. Ratan Tata has fulfilled the dreams of all the indians who want to own a car for a cheaper price, he has also taken care that in order to achieve this he has not compromised with quality of the car.

I as an Indian is very proud of this historic moment. This is really one of the D-day to be proud of ourself and our country. We have shown the rest of the world Whats our POWER!!! by launching this project successfully..

What is Life?

Sometimes I feel why I was born human? why not a Dog, cat or an thing like stone etc?? ... On thinking more about this I felt that may be life is different from a body. The life can choose any body like the body of an animal or a human being. But who is the person who directs our life to a body ??? Well I have no answer....

The next thing that strikes my mind is should you take life as it is or should you try to change it???

What is right and what is wrong??

Do you have to believe in your luck or do you need to work hard and go out of the way to achieve what you need??

Many questions but strange answers

On discussing these questions with friends they come with all sorts of anwers but all of the answers are based on their own life cases and hence its difficult to get to one conclusion....

The best way to find answer is for you to think deeply, you have to be one with your soul and think and think until you find the right answer and this process is not very easy. Meditation is a way of achieving this quite to an extent but you have to learn to meditate and then see the results.

Lastly I can say only one thing "Every thing you do is what your mind says or heart says so master the art of controlling your mind and direct it to the way you want to go. Every human being is having some purpose in life and none of them in this world is without purpose, its for us to fulfill the purpose in life," in short I can say "If you think, You can then YOU CAN"...

Keep your fighting spirit, Hope, Enthusiasm and positive attitude always alive and keep it pumping and working at full potential

Enjoy every moment of life .....

Aussie 2nd Test

he feels,,,,

The match that India played against Aus was really good, we got to see how cricket has gone from a game to a state where the ethics of the players are at stake. Now its hard to decide whats right and whats wrong, the only thing that we can do is to debate and discuss that this could have been done and that could have been done, but ultimaltely the result is that we could not have avoided this.

Well this could have been handled in a better way by looking things differently, we should have set up a strong umpiring team, the third umpire should be given more power to override the decisions of the field umpires, the conversations between the opposing team memebers must be done in front of the field umpire, the players should play the game with the spirit of the game than with other intentions of making or breaking the world records

Ultimately he feels that he should not have wasted a productive day for watching this game, instead he could have concentrated on his other work..

She feels,,,,

One more game of cricket and my men dont allow me to swich to other channels but only stick up to news and Cricket.

Although the game could have ended well but because of the wrong decisions of the umpire their team won or got defeted..(this was the update given to she by their men)

I wish these men would become less crazy about the game after more and more such Controversy. But the worst thing is that instead of missing my favourite serial for 5 days am missing it for few more days because of this controversy.
