A T T I T U D E

I live in a beautiful and a very wonderful country. Many of us know that India is a Secular Country with multicolors and multireligion.. The colours that we get to see here is not avaliable in any other country in the world. we have many dialects and many languages spoken in India. In spite of all these we are all living as a single country.
When it comes to World power we say that we are a single United country but when its with in India.. We show Unity with a difference and this we show with respect to Language, Religion and Place where we live in.
When we represent India in any foreign place we generally represent it as a whole county but when it comes to representation with in India we become very selfish and forget that we are from one big country INDIA.
This is what I mean by Attitude in thinking. We must start to think that WE are Indians with in our India, rather than telling I am a Karnatakan, Mumbaikar, Punjabi, Tamilian.... If we can change this very attitude about ourself and about our country then we will be far far ahead of any other developed nation in this world..
This very attitude should change.. we must start to think as WE instead of ME, My Country insted of My Home, My Nation instead of My family, thats when WE make the difference...
I have started to say that I am an INDIAN where ever I go with in India, and I always consider any place as my home and keep it always the way I want my home to be... I have started to think like WE...
When are you gonna Change... ??????

Coming back from Hybernation

Hello All,
Its been so many days since I stopped writing here... well nevertheless I am back from my hybernation. In all the days that I was away I acutally dont remember what I did for this long time..
Its been many months.. Today I am actually free and my creative thoughts have come back alive again ... so I am here sharing myself with you all...
Ummmmmm!!!!! Now what to write...well there are many many things...
Now a days I have my office far far away from my home unlike in Mangalore i was as near to my Office... These days I have to travel one hour to office by cab in the scorching sun at noon time. This is kind of good experiance as I get partially baked in the vehicle.. I will be smelling sweet and wet when i reach the office... WOW!! now dont lick your lips... :)
On reaching office The AC in the office will just cool down me and I get feel the good effect of the AC.. Just like hot gulab jamuns getting dipped in the suger solution after getting fried in oil..
After that I set up my laptop and the do the conferance call to my team who is seated in Bangalore.. then I attend meetings... The meeting goes for about two hours and then we are free .... Hold on!!! dont come to any conclusions by the word FREE.....
After that my teammates and Me will go out and have Special Tea in 3 star hotel (well the star is only the name and not the comfort) but the Tea served is very very good to drink. Tea time is done and then back to work area to work on the things that was discussed in the meeting... Biscuits intervene my concentration and it fulfils the call of my Tummy :)
Later by about 7 Pm all of them start to leave... back to the Guest house... On reaching the guest house we plan to have dinner either in the Food court at office or in Dabha...
After dinner the real work starts.. My team and Me will be working late night till one AM on the tasks that was learnt in the meeting also the things that we need to do research on. During this time by 11 PM, I prepare Tea for all of them and they love the tea prepared by me ... and ofcourse I also would love to see their happy faces after the hectic day....
During Tea we share biscuits and pull each other legs.. after Tea again get back to work.. listen to music, dancing somtimes in the room... its kind of fun for a bachelor....
Then after all these things I go to bed by 2 or 3 AM.... I get up by 9 AM and the next day repeats in the similar way.....
I hope I have come out of hybernation in the right spirit... Comments welcome :) :)

Theory behind.. Shopping in Malls

It was weekend and I was checking with my friends about their plans for the weekend, many of them gave me the usual answer “Sleeping”, some said they are going for some tour while some of them told me about their plans for movies and shopping..

Now a days shopping has become a means to spend time for the urban population. Shopping is really good, fun and relaxing if you have good company to do shopping. Shopping has become famous in many major cities because the urban population has lot of money to spend and the cities have many attractive malls to make people to shell out money to spend.

Generally shopping is just a reason for spending time over weekends with friends and family in huge shopping malls. The shopping malls are equipped with all the things that a person needs, so that he can spend his time at leisure.

The designers who design shopping malls keep in mind that the mall should be place that helps a stressed person to relax, unwind and get recharged and also it should bring profit to the people who have shops in the malls and hence today’s shopping malls boasts of having all the facilities from Good parking space, Centralized air-conditioning , Lots of Food joints for the visitors to eat, Movie theatres for entertaining the folks who visit the mall, Gaming zones to all many different shops which sells all the different kinds of goods to the public. Its because of many such facilities the malls have become one of the major attractions in the city.

So, if a person visits the mall in the morning with family he can spend his time starting with a movie in one of the movie houses in the mall, then having lunch in one of the favorite restaurants in the mall, spending the late afternoon by doing some window shopping or actual shopping among many shops in the mall, the evening again by having some snacks in any of the food courts in the mall and then playing some games in the game alley, lastly coming back home by having some good time over the weekend to get ready for the busy and hectic week ahead.

To sum up, malls give a over all relaxation for the person to recharge himself or herself for the coming week ahead with an affordable cost and lots of happiness.

Broadness in your thoughts…

India is a country of many culture and many religion. The fact that we are in 21 century hardly reflects in the thoughts of Indians, We might have won lot of laurels in all the fields but we still are far and far behind when it comes to the way we THINK.

Thinking!!! Its not a science to learn or master you can only tune your thinking by practicing it. Every human being is blessed with the power to think. The thinking process starts before the child can come out of the womb of its mother. The process develops with the development of the brain in the child. The thinking process is always learning process. You have to think before you do anything, if you don’t think in the right direction then the consequences could be catastrophic or devastating.

How do we get to know what we think and conclude is right? This is the question that every reader would be asking to himself or herself. To answer this I say “Start Thinking”. The answer is quite simple.. our thinking process works like a Database which stores the right answer and it does it by getting the right answer out or many options. But, if we carefully observe the thinking process we can relate it to the knockout football series or any knock out game. Out of the many options that we have, we start knocking out the unwanted choices until we encounter just two of them and lastly we knock out one and declare one as the ultimate winner. This Knockout technique works out well when we have facts to prove. For example if we are working out a mathematical problem of finding out the answer of a multiple choice question.

The Knockout technique works fine when we are asked to think and make decisions on problems which is supported by facts. But the problems that we encounter in our lives cannot be always solved by the Knockout technique.

The greatest problems in ones life is not the technical or mathematical problems but it’s the social, personal and emotional problems. If we question ourselves we think that we are the only person on this earth who has lot of problems. We also conclude that God has chosen only 'ME' to experience all the difficulties in life. This is not right because we hardly know the problems with fellow individuals. Every human being in this world has problem and its these problems that will challenge to keep him going in life..

  • As a baby the first problem is to walk, talk and make decisions as to what to put in mouth and what not to put.
  • As a kid to compete with the fellow students and get a good position in the class.
  • As a Teen to decide on what academics to choose to study further and take decisions about his\her future.
  • As a professional to work well and prove himself\herself to their boss.

To take decisions on all these, the person has to think well before and he has to have the know how of what is right? and what is not right?

The knowledge of what is right and what is wrong is sowed by experience, learning and teachings given by parents and teachers. Everybody’s parents and teachers teach their kids what they know along with what they learnt through their experience.

Now to highlight the topic of the way INDIANS think. In India, children stay with their parents. The children get seperated from their parents only if they have to leave the town for some reasons or if they get married. A girl stay with her parents till she is married and once she is married she will stay with her husband where as a guy can stay all his life with his parents if he is not moving out of the city.

Our parents teach all the things but, when it comes to relationship with oppostie sexs, then most parents in India think that it is not safe for their children to mingle with opposite sex, they use their experience and knowledge to take decisions about their kids but they forget that the world is changing the generations are different, what was right during their time may not be the same way when it comes to their kid. It is during this phase of life, both the child and the parent should actively involve to mend their future. It is in this phase of child’s development that their parents should talk and behave with their kids like friends and respect them. The parents should not think that their son or daughter is still a kid and doesn’t know any thing, instead they should give their child the respect they need and also make them aware of their responsibilities by giving them responsibilities. In return the child should respect their parents for their decisions and should be very polite to them.

If such a thing happens then the broadness of thoughts will be established, the child should learn the art of forgiving, the art of thinking broad and not cheap, the method of keeping himself or herself calm and cool in most of the situations, the humbleness of being polite to everybody no matter if it’s a living or a non living thing and to show and express the beautiful gift of God LOVE..

Love is not easy to express, but we must cultivate to express our love towards others. Please be very careful in expressing love towards others, you must study the person carefully before you show your love to them. The other person should have the quality of politeness, broadness in thoughts and the awareness to value the love you show. The sentenses like "It's really great to talk to you" , "I will be missing you", "Please be in touch with me" etc., might have different effect on the person to whom you are talking to. Please be very careful and understand the person thoroughly before you say such words. Never ever use some delicate words for fun unless you dont know about the person for whom you are using it.

Lastly, the way to get\find happiness is to spread happiness and be happy. We can spread happiness by being polite, humble, thinking broad and the most important of it all by spreading and showing LOVE… and if we do this we will be happy.

To start with…

I love you all readers who read this article… thanks for your time and best wishes for your endeavors.

Love, attraction and infatuation …

Valentines day is nearing so I thought I can share some of my thoughts about the theme for which its celebrated.

The dictionary meaning of all these words are as follows…

LOVE: Have a great affection or liking for
ATTRACTION: The quality of arousing interest; being attractive or something that attracts
INFATUATION: Temporary love of an adolescent

Although the dictionary meaning is quite simple, its not so easy for us to understand it. These three words express more of an emotional experience than the simple meaning which is told above. Lets see them one by one ….

Love: This whole world of Literature is dependant on this, if this word was not there in English then English literature would not have been as it is today. From Shakespeare era to the modern poets everybody uses this word. The filming industry (Hollywood and Bollywood) is making good profits each year by releasing new blockbusters because of this word LOVE. The whole of mankind is alive, happy and enjoying because of LOVE also mankind is waging war among themselves because of the same LOVE.

So what’s LOVE all about?

Love is a selfless feeling, a belief, an impression which no one can change within us. Its like an uninterrupted flow which is always pure. People who envy our love try to make the flow impure by polluting our beliefs with unwanted pollutants but if we keep our mind and will strong then nobody can shake the foundation of our belief and our love will always be pure. True Love is very difficult to get and also to give. Very few people are privileged with true love from their loved ones. Love cannot be given under any compulsion or bondage, it’s a feeling and it will automatically flow once your mind and heart agrees to do so.

People who show love should also express it then only the purpose is achieved. Love can be reached and felt only if one shows and the other acknowledge that Love has reached him or her.

ATTRACTION: This is not so complex feeling as that of love, attraction is like a flash of the camera. It’s a common feeling among all living beings, the sunflower gets attracted to the sun. The bees gets attracted to the beautiful rose. Attraction is more like a small chemical reaction in the brain for some external stimulus. Guys get attracted to beautiful girls and similarly girls gets attracted to handsome guys. Human beings gets attracted to non living things too like many girls getting attracted to their soft toys (The famous Teddy bear, the Tweety bird) and on the other hand guys getting attracted to the newest tech stuffs like the I-phone, the new sedan or the new bike in the market.

The state of attraction is just momentary and is short lived. As time ripens the attraction also changes. As a young kid, toys are its major attraction, as a teenage boy, bicycle, motorcycle are the major attraction and as a man, job, social status and good name and fame are the attraction.

If LOVE is considered as the finish line Attraction is the starting point of it..

INFATUATION: This has nothing to do with either LOVE or Attraction. Infatuation is a different feeling altogether. As the baby moves up along the ladder of life it is shaped by its parents, teachers and environment. Once the baby become adult and its secondary sexual characters (like growth of beard and mustache in the case of guys and puberty in case of girls) start to become visible then infatuation will also be visible. During this phase of life a lot of hormonal changes would be taking place in the body and these changes would lead to infatuation among individuals. Its this phase in ones life that a person has to be very careful about because the decisions taken during this phase of life would decide what you will be in future. It is at this stage when kids at home start to speak against their parents and they tend to explore more as they are more curious and want to do things differently and not follow the foot steps of elders.

Generally during this phase kids in college will start to date and mingle with opposite sex and try to explore more and know more, its during this phase these people might take wrong decisions in life if they don’t have proper guidance from elders and their well wishers. In general people who are in this stage should be extra careful about the decisions they take.

In short if LOVE is the finish line, ATTRACTION is the Starting point then INFATUATION is the shortcut and as everybody knows shortcut won't lead to success - LOVE.

Itzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz Coffeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee Timeeeeeeeeeeee...!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

All of you know what this topic means,,, it's nothing great its the usual coffee break that everybody have during their work. what makes my coffee time different? Read on to find out....

I am working for a software firm in India and as you all know Coffee is the driving fuel to keep us up and awake and help us work late and hard in such organization. This is about the evening coffee time that I used to have with my buddies, currently both of my buddies are serving their tenure at the client location. Both of them are in different parts of the world, the first one is in Australia, the second one is in USA and I am in my own lovely country India.

Generally we all used to message each other in the internal messenger of to meet at the food court (FC). Among the three of us, Shamanth (Sham) was very serious at his work, Vinay(Pats) was a calm and very cool fellow we all called him lover boy because of his kewl and soft nature and lastly Me (Simha) who was all notorious, enthusiastic, hyperactive and foolish too...

The food court is pretty huge and lovely with a CCD(Cafe Coffee Day), Juice and Ice-Cream counter and a Bakery counter to one side and a food counter to the other. Generally each one of us used to take turns to sponser the other two every day.

During the Coffee break while sham and pats used to discuss on some issues about work, I used to scan the food court for some gorgeous females and I wished "That some day I also want to have coffee with a gorgeous female :)" you know guys are guys. Sham used to snap my day dream sessions and get me back to reality by saying that "I am there for you Simha" of course he is always there for me anytime. If pats uses to eye some girl then we would stop him doing so by telling him that we would inform his girlfriend.... :) and for sham we used to tell him "hey sham!! look at her, ain't she gorgeous" for which sham would happily say she won't even come near me ... hahaha. He was very pessimistic about girls but he is very talented too... he is a chupa rustam(Hidden Genius).. He has got the honour of a girl proposing him first among the three of us.. well I still have to open my account in that... Not only in india.. He even dated a girl in Australia... and also watched the Australian Open tennis match with FIVE gorgeous females around him.. That proves the little Geni...

The best part is that we used to have a lot of fun over coffee pulling each others legs, making each one bakara(victim of fun, person to be laughed at) sharing whatever one buys, eating in same plate, sharing the coffee and all the above looking at the gorgeous females who come with not so good looking guys.. to the FC.

Now

All the three of us are far away..... I still go to the FC but not with my buddies sham and pats. Sometime I get a sweet gorgeous girl to go with (My dream has become reality) and sometime I won't be able to go to the FC. Now, when I am with a girl its a different experience then the one I had, when I used to go to FC with Sham and Pats...

Now! when I am with a girl, the others will be looking at me, some of the people who know me for a long time give me different looks by thinking that I am going around with that girl :). But still its fun to study people and their ways of thinking. Even if I am with a gorgeous girl for coffee I still keep looking at other table for better ones.. which goes by the fact that a "Dogs tail is always curved"... hahaha

But still I feel that the Best moments during coffee was was with sham and pats... although I used to feel that I need to enjoy the coffee with a gorgeous female but the fun, the liveliness, the openess, the happiness I had with sham and pats are uncomparable with a gorgerous girl having coffee with me.....

what do you say buddies...???????

Database!!!!!!!!! Phew…

The first time I heard database was when I joined as a software engineer for an IT firm. Before that the term database to me was just a computer science graduate term. But now if I recall I think the term database is very old.

Our human mind is a huge and a self designing database. The real power of human brain is known only if you think and look back what your brain can do. The human database gets created during the early stages of human development. The data inside the database is already present before the child is out of the womb of its mother. If we question ourselves who inserted the first set of information to that database. I am sure many will not find a satisfactory answer. Do you think its God? Well am not sure of the answer I just keep wondering .

Now after getting to know that our human beings have a wonderful and a strong data base lets explore some of the features of this database.

The human database is called BRAIN and this is one of the fastest in the world. Every living being on planet earth has one such BRAIN and human beings have one of the advanced version of the BRAIN. The purpose of a database is to store information and our brain has no problem in storing any amount of information in itself. The brain has a lot of information in itself but most of those information are not used widely and hence they reside in the lease accessed region in the brain. Some information like which color dress you had worn on first Saturday of 2008 will be present in your brain but the access for such information may not be fruitful as its stored in the least accessible region of the brain.

Generally human beings design the database for a payroll system, reservation system, etc., by analyzing and capturing all the requirements that are needed in that system. We can call such approach as "know and do" approach that is know what you have to do before going to do it, but our Brain doesn’t work in such fashion it will take all the information that is passed to it, the brain doesn’t verify the information at the first place but it will take as it comes to it and this is very different compared to the databases created by human beings. The brain doesn’t need to know if it needs any table to be created to keep the data and if it needs to link to any of them all such things.

Another important feature of any database is data RETRIEVAL. Retrieval of data is the very important feature of a database and this is done using some languages for man made database like oracle, DB2, Teradata etc., but for retrieval of information from the brain also we have a language and each individual has his or her own language which will query the Brain and gets the required information. The way one person adds three numbers (100, 23, 50) may be different than the other person adds but the answer (173) would be same from all the individuals.

The last feature is maintenance. Maintenance is pretty simple for BRAIN as it has the power to self maintain itself, it can take care of all the extra overloads by itself and hence makes one of the efficient databases in the world. But for man made databases we have to work hard to maintain it. Generally a team of software professionals are hired for this purpose and these professionals will maintain the database.

Now that I got to know so much about the human database… I still wonder which all table I queried to get this data into this blog..

Keep querying…

World's Cheapest Car..

Today India's top auto manufacturer unveiled the cheapest car of the world "Tata Nano" for a price tag of 1,00,000 INR (2500$ USD). This event has made India and Indians proud, The most happy people are the Middle class families who were aspiring to own a first hand car for the first time in their lives.

All this started when the owner of TaTa said that he will give the people of india an one lakh car, The indians were happy when he announced that but also feared if it was possible because of inflation. The cost of the raw materials were increasing day by day and the people feared if such a car would come to life from drawing board to reality, but the frea was wrong today we see "Tata Nano" infront of our eyes.
This was a great challenge for the Research and develolpment team of TELCO and the deadline was very tight as it would increase the cost if slipped. The R&D team in TELCO worked all day and night and at last they successfully completed the project..

Today (10-Jan-2008) Ratan Tata himself drove the car and unveiled it to all the people of india as he had promised. He specially mentioned that " I had made a promise and I have fulfilled that promise". Thats how a man should be, hats off to this great gentlemen who has put India in one of the top most postions in the world in the field of automobiles.

The people of india were all happy and thrilled by the very look of the car. Every indian who dreams of buying a 2 wheeler can now opt for buying a brand new car. Ratan Tata has fulfilled the dreams of all the indians who want to own a car for a cheaper price, he has also taken care that in order to achieve this he has not compromised with quality of the car.

I as an Indian is very proud of this historic moment. This is really one of the D-day to be proud of ourself and our country. We have shown the rest of the world Whats our POWER!!! by launching this project successfully..

What is Life?

Sometimes I feel why I was born human? why not a Dog, cat or an thing like stone etc?? ... On thinking more about this I felt that may be life is different from a body. The life can choose any body like the body of an animal or a human being. But who is the person who directs our life to a body ??? Well I have no answer....

The next thing that strikes my mind is should you take life as it is or should you try to change it???

What is right and what is wrong??

Do you have to believe in your luck or do you need to work hard and go out of the way to achieve what you need??

Many questions but strange answers

On discussing these questions with friends they come with all sorts of anwers but all of the answers are based on their own life cases and hence its difficult to get to one conclusion....

The best way to find answer is for you to think deeply, you have to be one with your soul and think and think until you find the right answer and this process is not very easy. Meditation is a way of achieving this quite to an extent but you have to learn to meditate and then see the results.

Lastly I can say only one thing "Every thing you do is what your mind says or heart says so master the art of controlling your mind and direct it to the way you want to go. Every human being is having some purpose in life and none of them in this world is without purpose, its for us to fulfill the purpose in life," in short I can say "If you think, You can then YOU CAN"...

Keep your fighting spirit, Hope, Enthusiasm and positive attitude always alive and keep it pumping and working at full potential

Enjoy every moment of life .....

Aussie 2nd Test

he feels,,,,

The match that India played against Aus was really good, we got to see how cricket has gone from a game to a state where the ethics of the players are at stake. Now its hard to decide whats right and whats wrong, the only thing that we can do is to debate and discuss that this could have been done and that could have been done, but ultimaltely the result is that we could not have avoided this.

Well this could have been handled in a better way by looking things differently, we should have set up a strong umpiring team, the third umpire should be given more power to override the decisions of the field umpires, the conversations between the opposing team memebers must be done in front of the field umpire, the players should play the game with the spirit of the game than with other intentions of making or breaking the world records

Ultimately he feels that he should not have wasted a productive day for watching this game, instead he could have concentrated on his other work..

She feels,,,,

One more game of cricket and my men dont allow me to swich to other channels but only stick up to news and Cricket.

Although the game could have ended well but because of the wrong decisions of the umpire their team won or got defeted..(this was the update given to she by their men)

I wish these men would become less crazy about the game after more and more such Controversy. But the worst thing is that instead of missing my favourite serial for 5 days am missing it for few more days because of this controversy.
